Pardis Jam or Padri mountain is one of the tourist attractions of Bushehr province, which is located near Jam city. The height of Pardis Jam mountain is about 1047 meters above sea level.

In the past, Pardis Mountain was called Padri Mountain, which consists of two parts: Pad meaning protector and Rey meaning royal city. The geographical location and good climate of Pardis Jam Mountain have caused the growth of suitable vegetation in the region. Olives, dates and honey are among the products that are produced in this region and play an important role in the economic prosperity of Bushehr province. Pieces of historical stones and the remains of a fire temple found around the mountain indicate the high age of Pardis Mountain, and from this point of view, this area is important for archaeologists.

There are many rumors and legends about Pardis Jam Mountain or paderi Mountain, all of which have been scientifically refuted. This mountain is considered to be the closest point of the earth to the sun and it is believed that this is why the H.I.V virus does not grow there. Other rumors suggest that some people believe that mountaineering cures cancer and AIDS. On the other hand, it is believed that the honey obtained from around this mountain is used to make Advil. It is rumored that the magnetic power of this mountain is so great that it attracts the cars that pass by it and causes them to crash into the mountain. And that they believe there is a large source of water in the lower layers of Pardis Jam Mountain. As mentioned, these rumors are completely unscientific and baseless.
