is an example of the royal residences belonging to the last kings of the Safavid period. The vast garden in which the mansion is located was part of Naqsh-e Jahan Garden called the Nightingale Garden, which was built by the decree of Shah Ismail I in 1080. Hasht Behesht Mansion is 30 meters long, 26.35 meters wide and two meters higher than the surrounding garden. This octagonal mansion has four facades, which are different from each other despite some similarities; although the north façade seems to be the main façade, the presence of a pool on the east side verifies the east one as the main façade. The palace, built on two floors on an octagonal base with a height of 130 cm, is about 14 meters. The palace is surrounded on four sides by four magnificent porches that supply the necessary and sufficient light inside. The central space of the building has plaster moqarnas, which are decorated with paintings; this space is designed in the form of a cross, so it overlooks the garden from all four sides. Each side has architectural plan, decorative design and various interior spaces. The architect has turned the building into a maze, and has created very small spaces, especially on the second floor, with a decorative touch.
